
I like what Lumion’s doing here – instead of adding an upload option, they’ve curated a bunch of REALLY great looking HDR backgrounds. You can adjust the brightness, rotation, and overall model brightness in the sliders. I believe there are 39 of these skies, all of which look like they’ve been added from the website, which is one of my favorite texture/material websites. They apply both accurate lighting, as well as a photorealistic background. These skies are very realistic HDR images that are automatically placed in the background of your renderings. It’s an effect you can apply as a part of your photo or video export process. Real Skies is a new feature that was released in Lumion 9.
